Welcome to my blog! I always said that I'd never have my own blog, but you know what they say:
"Never say never!" Check back often as I plan to update it regularly. Thanks for visiting!! Love.Brea
So I just shot with the wildly talented Koury Angelo yesterday and the pics turned out great! Elfee Duquette did a great job styling and Alisa Sherrod did an amazing job on my makeup... thanks to Matthieu and Michael for your help as well:) I'll be adding the "best of" to my website shortly but in the meantime, check out a few of the pics below...
So I just got word that I booked the lead role of Nikki in the short film, "Broken." The script is awesome and the cast and crew seems great, so I'm super excited. We shoot this weekend... yay!
Happy Monday to you! Hope you have a fantastic week :)
The "Lie to Me" episode I filmed a few months ago airs this Wednesday on FOX, right after American Idol. I play, Sandra Kisker, the wife of a construction worker who is trapped in a building. The show is really smart and interesting, so check it out if you have the time.
Clark Johnson of the "The Wire" directed this episode and he was a joy to work with. He seriously is one of the "coolest cats" in Hollywood... and of course, Tim Roth is pretty awesome too. I feel so blessed to be getting work during these tough times... but even when it seems really bad, there's so much to be thankful for!
So I just finished filming my scenes for "Johnny B. Homeless", a webseries created by and starring the multitalented Al Thompson.
It is so freakin' hilarious, and I'm SO excited to be a part of it. I haven't done much comedy but Al is a pro and made me feel at ease. He plays Johnny B. and I play Ariel Deerborn, a French artist with a quirky side ;).
I'll let you know when you can see it online... I can't wait! But until then, check out the promo for the show (btw, that's not me below)...
So, the feature film in which I play my first lead role, "Bronx Paradise", is now making its rounds in the festivals!
So far it's gotten into The British Film Fest, The NY Independent Int'l Festival, The Egypt Int'l Festival, Burbank Int'l, Action on Film Int'l, New Filmmakers NY and Riverside Int'l, just to name a few.
It's based on the true life story of Wayne Gurman, and it chronicles his criminal lifestyle from 1984-1999. I play Kim Gurman, Wayne's wife.
"Bronx Paradise" was written by Wayne Gurman and directed by ex-NY cop, Billy Lappe, both of whom I had a great time working with. It also stars Arthur Nascarella, John Palumbo and Thomas Jefferson Byrd.
I recently saw the finished product and I'm really excited about the future of this film!!
You can view the trailer here, and find updated news about the film HERE!
So, the US Army commercial that I'm in started airing on Veteran's Day but I just got my hands on the You Tube version. Check it out! I'm the girl climbing the rope...
